Good news to all the Britney Spears fans out there, here’s one great news for you. The former pop princess turned tabloid material mother-of-two is back in the charts.
Britney’s latest single “Womanizer” is right on top of America’s Billboard Hot 100 charts. Right after that fiasco of a performance at the VMA’s last year, Britney’s back with a vengeance – being on the cover of magazines telling us all how she got her body back.
And now this – the single jumped from the 96th to the number one spot in one day! That’s another record-breaking stat for the singer.
“Womanizer” is a track from Britney’s sixth studio album called Circus – and the song already had 286,000 digital downloads. The last time that Britney had such a huge success in the charts was 10 years ago – when “…Baby One More Time” was released. Boy, aren’t we all glad that she’s finally “back on track” – and I mean that literally and figuratively.
