After her not-so-noteworthy ‘comeback‘ performance at the VMA last year – this is a way better year for Britney Spears – way better!
First up, here’s a vid of her doing the rehearsals for her opening VMA number.
At the 25th Annual MTV Video Music Awards 2008, there’s a clip of her turning down slick advances from “Superbad” funnyman Jonah Hill. After that, she appears onstage to welcome the raving crowd.
She looked amazing during the rehearsals – and she looked splendid in a glittery silver number at this year’s awards night. More importantly, the mother of two went on to win three VMA’s, including the much-coveted “Video of the Year“.
Looks like Brit’s back on the right track.
I’m THRILLED for Britney!!! I LOVE her & her music……still have Gimme as my ringtone! It’s so good to see her cleaning up her act especially for her kids………and us BRITNEY FANATICS!!! We all go through downhills………..just hers was in the public eye….for all to judge & critisize. I say HOORAY to Britney and she deserves all these awards!!!

I am impressed. She was poised and elegant. She also looked incredibly beautiful and didn’t let herself down at all. The wait was interminable but she managed herself professionally and appropriately. She has worked so hard these last few months and I’m so happy to see her looking so healthy and improved. Keep up the good work and all the best for the up-coming album.
