These "smooth and seductive evening bags made from moulded plastic" reminded me of nothing more than the travel soapdishes I used to get for Christmas as a kid (kids today don't know they're born!). Colours shown are pearl, black and coral and they also come in caramel and sparkly silver. I guess they could have a sort of fifties retro charm, but I'm really clutching at straws. Plus they cost $139 each - for a plastic box on a chain?
