You know the ones where they have all the crazy T-shirts in the windows and loud hip music... I've been to one of them once, but I just can't remember the name of the store. They did have the jeans you describe. Better yet, maybe she could ask a teenager who's wearing them in the street? This way you'll know the right place to go to in your neighborhood.
