I think that we’re all guilty of at thinking at least once about having cosmetic surgery done. But the interesting fact is that the more and more American women actually go under the knife! And guess what they want to be altered first? The Boobs! Just look at these numbers from a recent LiveScience report:
Women’s top-five cosmetic surgical procedures for 2007
- Breast augmentation: 399,440 procedures
- Liposuction: 398,848
- Eyelid surgery: 208,199
And for a comparison:
Men’s top-five cosmetic surgical procedures for 2007
- Liposuction: 57,980 procedures
- Eyelid surgery: 32,564
- Nose reshaping: 31,713
(like that would change anything… women do not care about men’s looks, do they?)
Just imagine, in the year 2007 alone, there were almost 400,000 women who had their boobs done! Which means there is almost half a million of women with perfect breasts walking the streets of the USA. I am myself too chikenish to go under the knife, but what about you? Would you go for a surgery like that, or maybe you already have?

i think its gross how people have to be constantly changing their appearance to feel better about themselves. pathetic all you 400,000!
Cool topic. I wouldn’t do it. Lol, luckily I’m “blessed” with 34C so I’m happy with that. I may or may not :p have thought “well jeez.. I wouldn’t mind perkier breasts someday” but I too am a bit chicken to do it. I don’t have an opinion as to whether it’s good/bad. Some women just need it to feel better. More power to them I guess. In my opinion overall health and great skin is way more important then big hooters.

I’m in that list! And I see nothing wrong about that - it’s not so real, but what is real - fake daily makeup, nails, hair dying, high heels that make your legs look longer? We make fake ourselves daily, then why don’t we do that permanently?;) If you can make the perfect you - then why not?
Good for those that have the courage to go under the knife. I just wondered how one boobs will look at old age after so many years of tampering.
I do think that fake boobs are great for women with breast cancer. It makes them feel like they have regained what they have lost.
I wouldnt do these kind of surgery since i dont think i need it. Many men say they like natural look. Men who like big boobs barbies only, I dont care abt them.
