It also helps your heart pumping and keeps you in good shape without compromising the health of the baby. Expectant moms should ask their doctor first before embarking on any form of work out. Cardiovascular and flexible and strength are the best kinds of exercise for pregnant women. Cardiovascular work out includes walking, swimming, low-impact aerobics and dancing. These cardio work outs are easy to do and it requires no equipment. Walking and Swimming are perfect forms of exercise because it uses both legs and arms muscles, and legs and knee without jarring them. Another kind of exercise is strength and flexibility which includes yoga, stretching and weight training. These work outs help you maintain muscle tone, keep you flexible and keeps your body relaxed.
