“CoverGirl Wetslicks Amazemint isn’t just a lip gloss, it’s a smile treatment!” Wow, with that sales pitch alone, I am so convinced that this new beauty item is good for the moolah. After all, haven’t we ladies been on a seemingly endless quest to find a product that’s part shiny lip gloss and part peppermint oil? As you all know, I’m a big lip gloss/lip balm fan (Body Shop Strawberry Lippy represent!) plus I never run out of Clorets Breath Mint tablets (always have them during bar hopping, baby!) so learning about this new Covergirl product is a relief! No need to do both lip gloss touch up and mint popping now!

With 13 different shades to choose from, I’m going to have a field day with the Wetslicks AmazeMint line. I’m loving the Toast-ed, Slaphappy, No Care Bare, Pink Positive (which “Umbrella” singer Rihanna wore in one of their ads) and Freedom of Peach shades! Covergirl’s new range also has some unconventional hues like the bluish Happy Hour, purplish Plum Crazy and super violent-purplish Un-wined.

Geez, I think my heart skipped a beat.
