The August deadline for the whole work situation looms. I’ve been sending out a few CVs to entertainment and media companies and will expand my search criteria after March. I’ll even get headhunters involved at that time (although I find them pushy and have a very difficult time trying to convince them to search on my behalf rather than just for a quick commission).
There was a job
I write this post as I sit on the couch watching the Jets game. Well, Bunny is watching the Jets game. I’m just acting as moral support while she watches the Jets game.
My birthday is fast approaching. I want to do something smaller. The same day is the Chinese New Year. I’d like to integrate that somehow. Maybe I should have the birthday in Chinatown and get Chinese food. I’m open to
FINALLY, I got to the gym. After about a month of overeating and not going. Yeesh. Now I just have to get my eating habits back on track and I’ll be heading in the right direction again.

Goals for 2006 (subject to change):
Lose more weight and get in shape to the point where I perpetually weigh under 200 pounds.
Nope. In fact, I’m back to the same weight I was at this time last year. Not good.
Join a gym to accomplish the previous.
Joining a different gym. We’ll see if that works better.
Host a birthday party/Presidential campaign kick-off at my condo. You’re all invited.
Day 4…
First, the Kennedy Space Center. Here’s Bunny in front of the Rocket Garden. Apparently rockets are grown, not built.
Bunny also tried the flight simulator.
Apparently, she has the right stuff.
Outside, we saw a crocodile.
That night, we met up with the family to see the Hoop De Doo at the Pioneer Hall in Disneyworld.

Yesterday was a fun day. Bunny and I went to Lincoln Center to look at this. There was some interesting materials displayed, such as an early draft of Dylan Thomas’ “Under Milk Wood” (a play I performed in college) and letters written by Sarah Siddons (who was probably the biggest female theater star in existence in the late 18th century). I also enjoyed the video library in the back which
Day Two began with a visit to “Chef Mickey’s,” a character breakfast buffet run out of the Disney Contemporary Hotel which is one Monorail stop away from the Magic Kingdom. The buffet was very good and Deniece had much fun with the characters (at one point, she put her hands over Minnie’s eyes to make her blind. Truthfully, I don’t think they can see out of those outfits anyway).
I realized
I have a little spare time on Christmas day, so I thought I’d start talking about the Disney World trip.
The trip out was uneventful, with Bunny and I waiting a little while at the airport to meet up with my family (including Deniece and Denephew). We ate. Bunny had a salad.
We then met up with them at the terminal.
