Christina Cavalli certainly isn’t living in her father Roberto’s shadow. Christina, the company’s newly appointed CEO, is putting together big plans, including considering new licensing, cosmetics, plus a sports and home collection. While I personally may not find their clothes that appealing, I am quite interested in what a Cavalli cosmetic line would include.
After previous offers could never reach an agreement, Cavalli is considering also an IPO. “To grow and strengthen our business, an IPO would be more in line with our strategies, compared to selling part of the company to new partners,” said Christina Cavalli.
In more expansion news, a Just Cavalli dedicated boutique will open on Fifth Avenue in August. Just Cavalli is the company’s most profitable licensing venture, with an expected increase of 40% in 2007.

Images are emerging from Scarlett Johansson’s Fall 2007 campaign with Louis Vuitton. Comparing these to the Spring 2007 images, I find myself quite bored. The colors are brighter, but there is nothing revolutionary. While old Hollywood glamour may never go out of style, it certainly becomes boring at the hands of Louis Vuitton. What do you think?
