What did you need to get into Cavalli's vodka launch party at Movida on Wednesday? It seems if you weren't in possession of an orange tan, eurotrash accent, bling for the girls and a stripy shirt avec popped collar for the lads then you weren't getting in. That or you're ex-Destiny's Child Kelly Rowland.
Isabelle O'Carroll's stories:
If you fancy yourself as a darling of the tabloids, hounded by the paparazzi at every turn, followed out of Starbucks and chased in your car for lucrative pictures but the reality is more mundane then carry out your strange fantasies with a paparazzi playset.
We love a bit of Sweet Valley High nostalgia at Shiny Towers, and we hear that publisher Random House is dragging the twins out of the '80s and re-releasing the series this month in the US complete with fancy new covers.
This outfit is kind of matchy matchy but when I saw the orange earrings I had to add them to the look. They go so well with the glossy, juicy bag and crossover sandals which nicely compete for attention with the centrepiece of the outfit the gorgeous turquoise dress.
You can't wear these dresses but it doesn't make them any less lovely. Elisabeth Lecourt's map dresses are pressed and pleated like real garnments but you're more likely to find them hanging in an art gallery than a shop.
We've had the romantic catwalk rundown and now here are my picks from the high street. To make this look work without looking cloyingly sickly team floaty dresses with grey tights and chunky sandals.
Forget Holy Moly or Popbitch on this pre-bank holiday work slump, while away a couple of hours on Hart+Larsson's website for they are the geniuses behind the Marc Jacobs spoof adverts doing the rounds on the web at the moment.
Pairing brights with denim or black is a bit too tried and tested, so you know those safari shorts we featured yesterday? Try them with brights it's far more modern. My favourite bright is coral, it looks great with grey, lemon yellow, khaki and navy so it's far more versatile than you might think.
Gemma picked out some great safari looks from the catwalk earlier today but what about putting it together in an outfit? Safari is such a classic look its best to keep things simple and a safari shirt-dress is a great way of getting the look.
There are such a wide range of floral prints about if you go for this trend you'll be spoilt for choice. The key with making florals feel fresh is to mix and match and go for something that feels individual rather than a straightforward girly, matchy matchy outfit.

We've got an exciting week of trend rundowns this week, starting off with floral. This trend started off as a whimsical backlash against the tough-chic trends from last autumn with Scarlett Johanssen's images for Louis Vuitton but it wasn't long before Nicolas Ghesqière at Balenciaga had added an edge to the whole trend with his gladiator sandals and armour-like silhouetted outfits that seem to be all over the fashion mags at the ...
I know this picture is woefully old, but when I saw them the first thing I thought was 'who said high heels aren't practical?!' and thought it's just the thing to have a giggle at on a wet Friday.
I spotted this woman's shoes on the tube which I recognised from Office andthen spent my whole journey staring at her outfit. I love the simple buteffective colour combination and the vintage satchel tops it off nicely.
I've picked out three of my favourite pleated, folded and ruched dresses of the moment. First up, and my favourite is Philip Lim's pleated and folded dress which would undoubtedly make an impact, the blue colour is gorgeous and the silk fabric gives it even more intensity.
