In my Sunday magazine I read about Barry Chandler who wanted to show his love for his wife on their 10th anniversary. Now most men may opt for the flowers or the chocolates, but not Barry. He organised the same wedding day that they had enjoyed 10 years earlier. He booked the same church to renew their vows, the same vicar, organist, reception, flowers, best men etc

I am naturally quite a shy person, and I was speaking to one of my friends who is getting married next month and was encouraged by her approach. She too is shy, her “Big Day” is about vows, joining together with the person she loves unconditionally - it is not about being the centre of attention for the day.

I think this would be a great gift for an engagement - take a ...

Liz Hurley’s upcoming wedding would seem to have put her in the pink as NOW is running a story on how all the guests will be asked to dress in pink sari’s with the men asked to wear turbans and long tunics.
The weirdest past of Liz and Arun’s invitation is the recommendation of a travel iron - how romantic is that!

I love this idea as any girl loves jewellery and what a wonderful way of providing an ongoing memory for years to come. The ones that I saw made were a zircon/silver and a straight replica of the brides ring - beautiful.
