Call her what you will, but the one edge that Angelina Jolie has over all the other celebs in Hollywood is having a soft spot for the plight of others.

According to MarieClaire UK, the 33-year old mother of six broke down in tears during her first visit to Afghanistan after being witness to the plight of the refugees who have just returned home.

According to the “Changeling” actress:

“These families have been displaced for more than 30 years and many of them face difficulties including food, shelter and basic services such as healthcare and education.”

“They have suffered so much yet they remain gracious. The courage, resilience and quiet dignity of returnee families rebuilding their lives against the kind of adversity few of us can imagine shows the human spirit at its best.”
