Summer is a wonderful time of the year to enjoy a cool refreshing milkshake. Of course you must be careful or you will pack on the pounds while you are sipping these luscious treats. So I have included several low calorie choices as well. Just don’t tell the kids they are good for you!
1. Blueberry Yum! Yum!

1 c. blueberries, ½ cup vanilla yogurt, ½ cup milk, 3 oz. pineapple juice, 2 Tbs. honey, 7 or 8 ice cubes. Add liquid, then fruit, and then ice cubes. Blend. Enjoy.
2. Strawberry Cheese Cake Cream

Serve this at your next party, or simply when you have company. Yes, it is that good!
1 ½ c. frozen yogurt (strawberry), ¾ cup peach nectar, 4 Tbs each, sour cream and cream cheese, 2 cups crushed strawberries. Process all ingredients until smooth. Garnish with whipped cream and a sliced strawberry. I’m going to make me one right now!
3. Banana Nut Cut Up

This shake taste so similar to banana nut bread, you won’t believe it!
1 c. milk, 1 c. vanilla ice cream, 1 banana, ¼ cup walnuts. Mix in a mixer until smooth.
