The enigmatic smile of an unknown lady is by far the most recognizable and one of the most famous paintings of all time. Although the identity of the lady in the picture has been recently discovered, it has not diminished the popularity of the painting. Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

I think Vincent Van Gogh would be very surprised to find that he lived in the 15th century but even more so to be created with painting the Last Supper in Milan, considering he lived 1853-1890 and never set foot in Italy. I think you were looking for Leonard da Vinci as the painter of The Last Supper..

fantastic list all absolutely beautiful, but what about Starry Night by Van Gogh?

My favorite three are the Mona Lisa, The Scream, and The Creation.

I was hoping to see the Kiss by Gustav Klimt and Picasso's Guernica, but I guess there are a lot more that could've been added! Great choices nonetheless!
