One throw pillow or blanket can make such a difference in a room, brightening or lightering an otherwise bland or boring sofa or chair. They can make guests feel welcome, or just make a private room cozier. There are a lot of chintzy, cheap-looking ones out there, though, and that would just be a mistake!
