		<description>I&#039;m hoping that perhaps somebody with a little more medical/ nutritional knowledge can respond to what I&#039;m about to write..
I&#039;m 27 years old and I have 2 kids... and I&#039;m currently weighing in at about 175lbs... I&#039;m 5&#039;4. I wear a size 8 and I&#039;ve worn this same size since I was 18... however, at 18 I only weighted 135lbs. Now my doctor keeps telling me that I need to lose weight.. yes I&#039;m aware that I do... I&#039;m not ignorant, so I&#039;ve been really watching what I eat, exercising daily... I managed to lose about 5 lbs initially and now all of a sudden I gained them all back... This really confuses me? I&#039;m active i&#039;m practically eating like a vegetarian and i&#039;m putting on weight.. however, I still wear the same size I did practically 9 years ago but i&#039;m 40 pounds heavier???

Could the majority of this weight be fluid?! my doctor doesn&#039;t take me seriously and i&#039;m at my wits end because when i&#039;m doing supposedly everything right and nothings happening it makes me think, what else could I possibly do?</description>

because you&#039;re 13 I will add more info for you, since you are active, your diet is the bad thing and using the school lunches as an excuse is not right and you know it. Ask your mom to get you two plastic containers. 
Everyday you will eat a soup at school during lunch which you&#039;ll buy, and don&#039;t tell me your school doesn&#039;t sell soup. You will have a snack of apples with peanut butter three hours after breakfast before your soup for lunch. Bring the apples and pleanut butter in one small container. 

Go to sleep early and get up early. When you get up, make a good hearty breakfast. Drink grapefruit juice, it&#039;s great for your brain. Eat whatever you like, but best is cereal gluten free, a plate of yoghurt with fruit and if you love pastries this is the time to have guilty food. One thing I love in the am is avocado and eggwhite omelete. The reason why YOU MUST have breakfast, is to have energy for school. You&#039;ll burn a lot of calories just reading! When you get to school, 3 hours later you eat your peanut butter apple, or snack or plain carrots.
DO NOT SKIP A SNACK your metabolism will boost and you&#039;ll burn more fat. When you get up early in the am make your post lunch meal. Veggies NO dressing, just a bit of olive oil and vinegar mixed together for flavor. The best kind I know of is PONZU, it&#039;s not exactly vinegar that doesn&#039;t burn your stomach it&#039;s a slimming Japanese vinegar. Many stores sell it. Mix it with olive oil and you&#039;ll do both your gallblader and liver a favor if you also stick to the eight glasses of water a day. 
Into your container you will take time out in the morning to boil some pasta, the best is gluten free and you mix the veggies with it and add the dressing you made. Eat this meal 3hrs after you eat soup for lunch. Then only eat dinner at home, and go for a walk before bed, or read before bed so you burn a few more calories. Go to sleep early. During the day finnish off 8 glasses of clean water, not sparkling no bubbles and best is in a glass bottle. With exercize you should have no problem getting rid of the fat. You probably built some muscle over fat and it&#039;s harder to loose. You will do well by adding some pilates to your routine before bed. It elongates. I&#039;m sure this will help you.
Just remember that eating breads and pizza puts on fat and if you exercize too, you&#039;re adding fat and muscle at the same time, it&#039;s not good. Eat well, fish, veggies, and fruits ONLY
Keep a diet of 50% raw and 50% cooked. Try to spend less time online and in front of TV. Be outside daily, enjoy the sun, walk, move.</description>

		<description>So my name is Corbie, and i have been &quot;Overweight&quot; my whole life. I just weighed myself the other day and i was astounded at what the scale said. So, i started the diet i have done several times to lose weight fast. Its called the South Beach Diet. I have been on it for about 4 weeks now and iv lost about 15 pounds. The South Beach Diet is a low carb, low sugar diet. The first two weeks are the most crucial time of the diet. During the first 14 days, you eliminate all the carbs and sugars from your diet. That means no breads, rices, pastries, chocolate, candy, cake, etc. And in doing so, you will put your body into Ketosis, the fat burning state. If you follow exactly what the book says to do, you will drop anywhere from 10 to 20 pounds in the two weeks. I havent been following the book exactly, but i havent had any carbs for four weeks and i havent done any exercise and i already see a difference in the way my clothes fit. It really is hard in the first few weeks to stay on track, not eat candy, chocolate, what ever your poisin may be, but you can supplement it with sugar free chocolate from your grocery store, diet soda, and protien (Nuts, Meat, Cheese)
Anyways, i am going to start exercising and i am going to start making the change to being a vegitarian here in the next few days/weeks. I made a bet with my Dr. that by June 1st 2010 i would weigh 160, the weight i look best at because of my height and my muscle. Thats about 60 pounds for me to lose, give or take a few pounds. If i win, he is dying his hair pink and if i lose, i buy him a six pack of beer. My dr. is the best.
Ooookay, well i just wanted to share what i was doing to maybe help some people out.

All your weight gain is obviously emotion related. When you&#039;re under stress, your body releases cortisol, a stress hormone which slows your metabolism down. So even though, your eating the same amount of food or less, you&#039;re ot burning it up. Stress also affects your blood sugar level and where your body tends to store fat. More stress actually leads to greater levels of abdominal fat. So these are probably the reasons behind your weight gain. What you need to concentrate on is on healing mentally. This will ofcourse take time but don&#039;t hesitate to ask for help. Surround yourself with friends and loved ones. And with time, things will get better. When you&#039;re in a better place emotionally, I&#039;m sure everything else including the weight gain will fall into place.
