I’m thinking of purchasing a Speedy 35 for my 21st birthday. I’m a little hesitant to get the monogram canvas though. I’m still in college and I wont be living in a big city or anything when I graduate, so brads arent huge for me, but I’ve always been fond of LV. But I’m not all that big on flashy brand labels all over everything like Coach or Michael Kors (a far cry from LV though, I know). I LOVE the look of the Damier, but I’m not sure if its just going to be another trend after while. This was asked earlier in the thread and I couldn’t really get an answer out of what was said.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Love my Speedy! I got mine around 22 years ago. I had just turned 20 and got it as a gift. I used it to death! In fact two years ago it got small holes in the corner of the bag. But after 20 years of use I think that is impressive! I plan on buying a NEW LV bag this weekend..Thinking of the galleria…..

You know how they say in the States – bigger’s better :) Besides, I very often with my LV30 could fit in more – especially when I go on a trip, or vacation or just have a busy day when I need it all – the books, all the girly stuff AND my gym attire.

Hi today i got my speedy 35…from dublin. At first I regret coz my friend bought me the speedy 35 instead of speedy 30. But when I look at the bag I feel very hepi and starting to love it. For me all speedy bag are very very beautiful in its way.

Well…I’m debating on buying the speedy 35, I usually feel guilty about spending my own money on something expensive but in seeing that the largest isn’t that expensive I’m am leaning toward it…it was either the speedy or the new gucci bag. I know the speedy will still be stylish 5 years from now…idk…debating…somewhat.

I was searching online for opinions about purchasing a LV Speedy 30 because I have the tendency to feel guilty about expensive purchases especially when it’s my money. This made me feel much better about buying one. It’s my first offical splurge =]

Congratulations on your first LV bag!!! :) As for your Montorgueil PM or the Odeon PM dilemma, I think Montorgueil PM is more versatile, it will go with more outfits than Odeon PM AND it’s bigger… But you should listen to your heart, whichever you like best will be the best bet! :) I’d go to the LV store and take a close look at both of them, try them on and see how I feel.

I received the speedy 30 monogram canvas speedy for my birthday; and I exchanged it for the Damier design which now I wish I would have stuck with the monogram canvas. But, I do love my bag. Anyway now I am contemplating saving for the Montorgueil PM or the Odeon PM I am undecided. I know they say bigger is better? Has any one out there bought either one or considered buying one or the other? Or does anyone have a suggestion. Help :-)

I bought the Louis Vuitton Min Lin Speedy 30 a week ago. I have not used it yet. My question is… Do you think the Min Lin line is just a trend at this time or is a line to stay for a long time? I keep doubting myself..and thinking i should get the monogram canvas speedy 30 instead.. Please help….

Olga, today I splurged on the speedy 35.. i will admit i feel utterly guilty.. but, it is such a nice bag, i just can’t return it. I live in new york so of course counterfeit bags are everywhere, so I high tailed it to the LV store just to be sure. I got the 35 instead of the 30 because one of my biggest idols says if you are going to go for a bag go for the largest.. lol I am going to sleep on this purchase and hopefully in the morning I will still feel great about it, put in on with my jeans and stilettos and go !

THANKYOU! I bought my speedy 30 spontaniously when shopping with my friend after getting fed up that i couldnt find anything i liked! It cost me £405 in london and when i got home i was slightly (only VERY slightly) starting to regret my impulsive buy..until i read this and it completely made me shake off that feeling! i love it and want to take it everywhere with me.. and you’re right.. the best thing i could have bought, it goes with everything!!
