I absolutely agree with Sheila, smoking is so not cool. Just look at the celebs who smoke in the pics – about 5 out of 37 look relatively healthy. And the rest is just a sad sight. I wonder if smoking has anything to do with it…

lol, smoking is so bad for you!!! but i’m guilty as charged lol!!!! i’m a smoker, and i hate it! i wish i never started, and everytime i try to quit i get hella anxiety! somebody help me!!! lol

I’m not an expert but quitting anything has to start with you. I mean people can bark on about how terrible it is and how you could get cancer and blah blah blah but at the end of the day, it comes down to you and whether you really want to quit. A friend of mine just woke up one day and decided this is it! No more smoking. And he succeeded for a bit. But he’s back there now. I think quitting should be a slow process. Be strong and never give up and you’ll get there! Good luck hun :)
I don’t think at all that smoking is cool, but here in Portugal we see a new habit that I find even worst than smoking regularly which is smoking socially, like it will give you some style if you smoke at parties. We see that specially when you enter to college. And that’s bad, because many of the people that start to smoke “socially” and swear that they know what they’re doing and tell everyone that they can control it, after a while the truth is they’re addicted! An advice: you can be and look cool without such health damaging acessory…

Oh I know what you mean! I’ve also noticed people doing that. And you’re right, how long before the “social smoking” turns to a full blown addiction? People can be so dumb sometimes. Besides, everyone is smoking now-a-days that’s you’d be cooler by saying no rather than joining the crowd.

I agree with you that smoking is not cool, but some habits are hard to quit!
IMHAO… smokers are still a minority… So… smoking is really rebelling rather than joining the crowd… I mean if you don’t like smoking fine, if you like smoking that is also cool… not cool to say don’t smoke or have one and try… so not cool…
