Hmmm I’m kinda on the fence with this one. Madonna has the body of a rockstar but her face has definitely been affected by age. Then again you can’t really blame her for that can you.

Hmmm…Uma pretty much looks the same. Maybe a ‘lil dreary and puffy-eyed but her transformation with makeup isn’t all that spectacular to me either.

Wow! Heidi has the most amazing, impeccable porcelain skin I have seen! Okay too many adjectives but what can I say her face looks gorgeous! I can hardly believe makeup isn’t involved…

I can’t believe I’m about to say this but Kim actually looks good for once. I hardly expected a pretty face under all those layers of makeup.
I think the only reason why they tend to look bad without makeup is because we always see them with so much makeup on. Most of them look great…only a few need some eyebrow makeup and a little coverup! But myself…I dont wear any makeup!

LOL thanks Olga! Yeah I just never got into makeup…my sister would try to doll me up for school dances, but I found my guy without wearing any makeup and he loves it! Sometimes I use some eyeliner but thats about it! But if you wear makeup and you love wearing it there is nothing wrong with that either! :)

The first week we moved in, I would wake up at 6 in the morning to put on makeup before he wakes up, and this nightmare lasted for a whole week!
Then I overslept (thank God!). And it all turned out all right! :)) He is a nice guy, he even said he actually liked me more without makeup :)

Can we be honest for a minute? EVERYONE looks better with make up; that’s why it was created, to highlight the good and downplay the bad. I’m sure you’d look like you got his by a truck too at their age and with their schedules.

Where are we to judge them on how they look without makeup?
calling them disgusting and gross we are beyond rude and we have no place to be calling them out on not wearing makeup.
Why? because half of us will look like shi* without makeup on and the only reason why we think we look bad is because wearing make up gives you a fake perfection.. but wearing makeup isnt the real you!! Its just face paint to make you look like a different person, a face you hide behind. I feel bad for these ladys who get critized about how gross they look when wearing no makeup.
i think that the majority of them look better with make up cause they are a lot older now!! i mean, its not their fault they’re getting older.
Kate Beckinsale looks AMAZING! I can’t believe that’s her without makeup on. But I totally agree with what Diana said. We’re so used to always seeing them look so glamorous and gorgeous all the time, that we forget they’re regular people just like us.

I think the photos were taken in very different contexts, and in different lighting, different time of the day, etc. Sometimes the facial expressions contributed to what you call “uglyness”. Anyway, I understand the fact that seeing most of them look more common without makeup makes the rest of us feel more secure, and I think it’s great – that’s why I looked at the pictures. However, I don’t agree with saying that someone looks “wrong” or “awful” – everyone has a different face, and her own beauty.
