I cant tell my current employer that I have Jury Duty because I had jury duty 3 weeks ago and they know I cant get called in for Jury Duty more than once a year. I want to say I have to go to court, however, I dont want to say it's to appeal my unemployement. Should I say I have to contest a ticket? HELPPPP!!! I mean the common "i'm not feeling well" will most likely get you out of work, but it doesn't stop them from questioning you. Something like.. " my outlet is sparking, the electronic guy is on his way, however, i'm not sure how long it will take..or, " my hot water tank broke, my basement is flooded, now i have to move all my electronics upstairs so they don't get wet" those type of excuses won't get questioned simple because they are not everyday occurances. thanks though i plan on using some of yours:) I tend to think out of the box.
