I was so amazed at how these covers in just a couple of photos can represent the whole era! The clothes, the makeup, the faces! I remember the Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington craze back from when I was a kid, I so wanted to have Linda’s cat-like eyes and Christy’s big lips, I would take my Mom’s lipstick and put as much as possible around my mouth to see if I could look like her…

Wow what a great post of history and photos of Vogue…you did your homework for this one. I have to say I love the art of the early Vogue covers. And Im not a big fan of her but look how pure and innocent Kate Moss looks in 1993! And I love Kate Winslet’s cover on page 12! Olga you really are a girl of fashion :).
