Uncredited Voices

I finally semi-understand why certain writers are uncredited in films thanks to the inside peek we wannabes get at Craig Mazin’s & Ted Elliott’s website, www.artfulwriter.com.

According to various pros, the crediting process is a complicated, sometimes unfair, attempt to weight the contributions of everyone who worked on a screenplay in order to decide whose name goes on the screen.

But how is that voices can go uncredited in animation? Why is Kathleen Turner not credited with the voice of the gravity defying & dangerously over endowed vixen in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Can anyone tell me that? Is it based on number of lines recorded that actually wound up in the film? I need some animation education.

Skin Lightening

Skin Lightening Products are common place among Asian people especially the Chinese. The Chinese believe the fairer the skin, the more class and beauty the person is. Thus in this multi-million dollar industry, big brands such as Olay and L’oreal often find themselves competing with fly-by-night operators packaging their products in home ‘factories’. There are literally hundreds of whitening products on the market of these countries, and in most of them, regulation is either very lax or non-existent.
There are indeed many cheap skin lightening products that produce fast results . However, consumers often find themselves paying a much higher price later, in the form of permanent skin damage, or worse, organ damage and skin cancer. This is because such products use dangerous chemicals like hydroquinone and mercury as their active ingredient. These ingredients are prevalent in cheap lightening products because of the low cost of the ingredients - hydroquinone in particular, is far cheaper compared to other safer melanin-inhibitors such as concentrated licorice extract. I had a longer post about dating

I had a longer post about dating and cyberstalking ready to go, and I decided against posting it because I was afraid of being accused of being a cyberstalker. I am not a cyberstalker. I am, however, a cyberviewer. Sometimes I read blogs and do Google searches on people I used to know (I even found someone in San Francisco, but decided not to e-mail him because it’s been so long since we’ve been
