My recent feelings regarding the whole courting process tend to echo the Blogette’s most recent entry.

For example, on JDate, I sent my usual one e-mail out on Monday. The woman I sent it to actually DECLINED my letter. She looked at my profile, screamed “noooooo”, and declined my letter. Ordinarily, I let this sort of thing go, but it’s been a bad dating week. I am reproducing the

As I’ve mentioned, I do the online dating thing. For a few weeks, I was getting quite a few responses. Now, things are dry. I’m now going to do a quick review of two of the online services I have used/still use:

eHarmony.com: currently, this website does a lot of promotion, both on TV and in terms of deals for memberships. The big plug is that they give you a psychological evaluation by

The Blogette wonders why Internet dating doesn’t work. Being extremely experienced with it, I think I have the answer: because Internet dating is as much a crock as single’s dances and any other artificial attempts to intermingle that occur after college. In the end, there are only finite aspects to a person’s character that can be expressed online. Oh yes, and people lie about themselves

There are worse things than being single. Case in point:

I mentioned last week that I would talk about the other date from last week. She will henceforth be referred to as ‘PsychoWoman’. She e-mailed me first. There were two dates grand total. Both were at her apartment. Everything that happened was her idea.

On our first date (which was changed to meeting at her apartment from

Someone sent me this, and I thought it was hilarious, so I’m sharing it with all of you. You’ll need Flash Player installed to view it: Easter B.

Happy Easter to all who believe in it.

Happy Day Off Of Work to those that don’t.

UPDATE: I haven’t mentioned Valerie on this blog in a while. Go to her blog. Today, it’s extra-cool.

Dawn Eden, on her blog, links to this article. The writer, Terrance Moore, makes many valid points, but there is a flaw in his arguments. He seems to assume that women don’t enjoy sex for sex’s sake. They do it for love and attention. In my experience, this isn’t true. Am I incorrect?

I think, however, the fundamental message of the article rings true: changes in the roles of the sexes

Random thoughts:

My Passover Seder obligation for the year is over. Now, nothing until next year.

Caren Lissner hasn’t written anything of substance for a week now. Perhaps she’s saving it all for the next book.

My DSL is utter crap. Every time I go home, the modem can’t pick up the signal and there’s nothing wrong with the hardware on my end. I call customer service, they put in a

I went to the family Seder last night. As usual, our hostess, Mom, totalled the number of people that would be in attendance, made an estimate about how much food is actually required to feed that number of people, then multiplied that amount of food by a factor of eight. That’s how much food we had. It’s the next morning, and I’m STILL full. Thankfully, I was able to leave the festivities

The Blogette (and I seem to be mentioning her daily) writes of her desire for men to have outside hobbies or interests (or even just stories) that excite them. I know of only one man like that. He’s an accountant by day and pretty much has no outside hobbies or interests. I keep telling him to get one, and he hasn’t yet. The point is that I know of very few men with no personality.
