It seems that everyone is getting married these days, and finding something to wear can be a nightmare! Do you go for a calf length floaty number, or a sexy mini? Well, while a lot is dependent on the theme and location, net-a-porter have an amazing selection of dresses right now. Here are my favourites, perfect for any wedding!
1. Issa Printed Silk Jersey Dress

Price: $745 at net-a-porter.com
Wow! This is a gorgeous dress, that is sure to get you noticed without any chance of upstaging the bride! Monochrome is a massive trend right now, which is set to carry on well into the new year, and the butterfly print adds a feminine, elegant touch. The plunge front and slim fit means its amazingly flattering, and I love the back, too! Team with a blazer for a conservative day time look, and make sure you have some amazing jewellery!

I love #4!! It’s so cute! It’s elegant, yet flirty! Perfect for single people at a wedding!
#8 is so beautiful!
A lot of these are gorgeous but i just don’t think i would wear them. They’re extremely pricey too!
Number 13 and 15 especially!! WAY out of my price range! But gorgeous nonetheless! Thanks for the post (:

Hey Rose,
If price wasn’t a factor (which unfortunately it is), I’d pick 4 too!

wow these are all very modern style wedding dresses!
much different than the traditional white dress with a train. but change is good right? (:

Hey Amy,
These are dress choices to wear TO a wedding not for the bride :)

Like I said No.4 is my favorite. As for the rest of the dresses, I hate 3. Everything else is gorgeous but I don’t think a full length gown would suit my bodytype. I wish there were more short dress options…

ok i like 4 but 5 is the best

I absolutely love lace…
so my favourite is 3…though at that price tag I’d probably just wear a paper bag and pull off the paper bag princess look! lol

Hey Rasilla,
Lol! I can’t tell you if you’d look beautiful but you’d definitely stand out….probably more than the bride :p

I have to agree with the others #4 is adorable but so is #9.

Some of these dresses are really nice, but they sure are pricey. Might as well blow off the dust off the good old sewing machine and saw a copy cat one…eh? I love the first one and the last one, however you know how some dresses look great on a hanger, then you put it on and nothing fits in the right place…

I actually recieved number 4 as a christmas present from one of my BFF. I love the femine touch of number 7, it looks so flowy and princess-y. I like number 13 too! I bet most of us don’t really have the best figures, I suppose the dress itself can hide all of our weakness and bring out our strengths!

Hi Sabrina,
You recieved number 4 as a present? Can we share this friend of yours ? :D

I love most of these dresses, the pink ones look gorgeous….pink is my favorite color but you need to have a great body to wear bright color dresses. My favorite is the Marchesa Asymmetric Silk Chiffon Gown :)

Number 5 is the dress I’m wearing to my ball- and I got it on sale for $635

Hey Serena,
Really?! You lucky girl! Have fun at the ball! :)

very nice dresses, but I’m not sure all are wedding appropriate.
Remember – the bride is the star that day, and having a dress that competes too much with the bride is a faux-pas.
That being said there are one or two which are elegant and understated that would work well for a modern wedding. Beware dresses that are too short – those are better for balls or proms.

Hey Tamiyia,
Assuming you are tall, you’d look great in that ;)
