I think all of them are pretty, and I wish I look like them even though I feel so sorry for them to starve themselves. The only ones I think that need to gain some weight (around 10 pounds) are Olga Sheer and Kate Bosworth.

I SO agree with you on the fact that women should be more forgiving and less cruel when it comes to “judging” other women’s appearance. What I think we should truly focus on is the fact that every woman is actually beautiful in her own way and that the commercial beauty that has been brought upon us should no longer be the absolute everyone tries to measure up to. We, women, trying to look like cover girls, simply lost our identity and the in-born beauty that used to make us all special. Let’s stop before we all look like a clone of Barbie or Bratz…

Well clearly obesity and anorexia are both serious health issues.

I think the negativity about either shape has got to stop, really. Or no-one is getting any closer to feeling comfortable.

The reasons why people are “skinny” or “fat” are usually more complex than they first appear. Eg: a “fat” person *may* have a thyroid problem, just as a “skinny” person may have anorexia. Either may have emotional issues linked to their eating habits.
There are too many reasons to list why someone could be a shape that is ‘unacceptable’ to you.

What really f**ks me off is how women are negative and cruel to each other about the way they look, whether its’ big or small… It’s the negativity that causes all the problems.

If we just started paying LESS ATTENTION to how other women look, there would be a lot less insecurity and a lot less mental health problems that lead to eating disorders.

the second picture of “olga sherer” is, in fact, charlotte di calypso. who weighs at least 10lb less than Olga.

so if you MUST keep going on with the whole fat acceptance things, get your facts straight

message to america: stop eating, stop bitching about skinny people and face the REAL problem- OBESITY not ANOREXIA.

i think both ends of the rope are bad though
the society tends to get fatter (well, especially north americans) while the icons tend to get thiner…
as a woman, you have to find balance, your healthy weight. eat right and be sporty.
i, for one, have a strong appetite and always have a few pounds to lose :P

seeing this a lot makes me want to feed them! lol. it so sad that i see so many girls fallowing into thier foot steps. like at my school is super skinny is better. i feel bad because im plus size and feel some what to lose wait. but hay il live! having curves olny make it better and good looking!

beautiful, many of them.. especially Olga, Victoria Beckham, Linsday L, and Kate Bosworth. i def prefer this to the typical fat american girls i see every day.

btw its funny that stuffing your face until you’re obese isn’t considered an eating disorder, but if you’re beautiful and skinny then people start talking about ED. ridiculous.

Yikes! Most of them look so malnourished. I will tell you when I saw Paris Hilton during Super Bowl week she didn’t look nearly as bad in person as I thought she would. Don’t get me wrong, she’s still too skinny!
