4. The Specs on Yellow Gold…

Yellow gold is one of the most common types of metal for both engagement and wedding rings. Twenty four karat gold is known for being pure gold. While 18-karet is known for being ¼ alloy. The higher the purity is, the more easier it will be to damage it. Most engagement rings will either be fourteen or eighteen karat gold. It will eventually start to shock scratches and wear on it. However, the plus side to the story is that it is easy to repair.

Besides, it matches any other jewelry as well.

This is an excellent and informative story! It is so important for buyers to have an idea of what type of designs and styles they like before they go shopping for this important occasion! That way it doesn’t feel like information overload when you get to the store or site to make a purchase! Keep up the good work Melanie!

Great list…10 is very important, think about what your girlfriend wears and how she likes to dress. Does she like shiny jewelry or is she a simple girl? My fiance and I went together to pick out my engagement ring…it made things a lot easier and it was romantic and nice to pick it together. But I didnt get to see the finished ring until the day he proposed on the beach!! :) Lucky girl I am! My diamond is heart shaped and it was two rings put together…it has little circle diamonds on both sides of the heart…I love it and will cherish it forever n ever! :)
