If soy products are harmful, what are vegetarians supposed to eat? I dont want to eat just slads and fruit all day…

you can train your taste buds to really like anything. and you can eat veggies, fruits, nuts, legumes, ect. there are so many choices! just google vegan/veggie recipes and you’ll be surprised. and it’s not
that soy is so bad it’s just that a lot of it is bad for you. it mimics estrogen and too much can be harmful.

Soy products aren’t really all that harmful, but they are often put with stuff that is. Sometimes they are over-processed as well. If the soy product includes more than five things you can’t pronounce, it’s
probably not that good for you. If it’s all natural and you know what all the thing on the ingredients list mean, it’s generally okay. When in doubt, just go for tofu; it’s a great low-cal source of protein and there are so many ways to fix it!

@Juliana, Avoid process and stay with the natural closest to nature. It is when they start messing with the natural that it is harmful.

@Emma, Soy can slow and even stop your metabolism. Especially if you have celliac disease or a gluten intolerance. I gain 100 lbs by eating a clean tofu, temph, and edamame vegan diet. Soy
is not for everyone and yes it can be unhealthful.
