So, UNREALISTIC is the new excuse for lazy people? You see a skinny girl with a six-pack and boobs, she’s unrealistic. (and photoshopped) They tell you to stop eating junk food and sweets, you say ... See more that’s unrealistic. They advice you to stop eating bread, you say that’s unrealistic.

Unrealistic to all of you, maybe, who pretend to have a completely different body without a BIG effort and completely changing your habits.

Like someone said above, drop the fried chicken (and the excuses) and take a lap or two around your couches.

If it was easy, everyone would be skinny.

See more amount it takes to sustain a weight of 200 lbs, to the amount it takes to sustain a weight of 135lbs, cutting my daily calorie by almost 1000cals. My body flipped out. I was super bitchy and miserable. I had ZERO energy and ultimately gave up and went back to my old ways. What did work was to change my calorie intake to the amount I needed to sustain a weight of 190 lbs. Then, when I weighed 190 for a while change my calorie intake to the amount I needed to sustain a weight of 180 and so on and so forth. I did the same thing with exercise. It was unrealistic to try to try to change so drastically, like I did the first time. Anonymous : Exactly. I hate the comment below that says its unrealistic unless your a fitness model, under 29 and what not. I am 28, I am a mother of a 3 and 1 year old. I ... See more don’t eat much fast food, but I don’t measure my portions or avoid snacks. I don’t even work out 3 hours a day, but I DO walk 2 miles to the park everyday, I play with my kids, and if I need to go somewhere within walking distance, I walk. I have a wagon and the kids and I walk to the grocery store and walk home. I am very curvy, not a skinny model type, but I am 5’1″ a size 4 110lbs, and I don’t have a lose piece of skin on my, except for a bit around my tummy that I have struggled to shed since having my boy a year ago. Mostly its some lose skin from the pregnancy, but I do need to lose a few inches around the middle. No every body is not the same, but quite frankly, my best friend is larger, but she is all muscle. And that is beautiful. To say I’m naturally larger and I am not trying to be mean, but just fat, is just making an excuse to be fat. It isn’t healthy, and it isn’t all you can hope for. Some women are built thin and can be extremely strong and look like they have no muscles at all, others like my friend, look big simply because they have a very big/bulky muscle tone, others are more in the middle

AlixE : I really wish people could support each other, rather than tear one another down….

I took the “unrealistic” comment above to mean that you need to set realistic goals for your body type. For ... See more example. I’m 5’10”, 160 lbs, and a size 8 with 36D breasts. I’m happy with the way I look. My goal is to get more muscle tone and continue to be healthy (work out 5 days a week, eat fresh veggies and lean meats, no fried food, no fast food, only drink water, milk and tea, etc).

It would be UNREALISTIC for me to set a goal of weighing 120 lbs. It’s not going to happen. I’m a tall girl with a larger frame, so I’m never going to be a size 0.

I encourage everyone to do what they need to motivate themselves. If posting pictures of fit women (like the photos above) motivates you, go for it. Focus on feeling good, losing inches, and fitting into your clothes, not on the actual weight lost (muscle weighs more than fat).

As far as breasts go, some women have them, some don’t. Sometimes big boobs are a result of fatty tissue (some of which will be lost when you lose fat elsewhere), and some are larger because of mammary tissue. Some people are just gifted with large boobs and high metabolisms. Remember, there are some magnificent push up bras out there nowadays! I was a Hooters Girl for a few years in college, and the girls who lacked larger boobs wore 2 push up bras, and sometimes even rolled up socks inside their bras to make even more cleavage. Boobs aren’t always photoshopped or fake! My best friend has a B cup, and (with the help of her Bombshell bra) I think her cleavage looks much better than mine.

Make a goal and stick with it. What’s more difficult: looking in the mirror every day and hating what you see? Or going to the gym? My answer is the former.

See more HEARING HOW EASY IT IS FOR YOU ONLY DEPRESSES AND DISCOURAGES OTHERS. YES SOME PEOPLE MAKE EXCUSES I AM NOT DENYING THAT BUT NOT EVERYONE HAS EXCUSES SOME PEOPLE REALLY STRUGGLE WITH IT AND NOT FOR LACK OF TRYING. I MYSELF STRUGGLE WITH IT. I AM AVERAGE HEIGHT OF 5FT 5 N LARGER FRAMED WEIGHING 150 LBS I HAVE TRIED FOR YEARS AND YEARS AND NEVER HAD A FLAT STOMACH. AND I’M A VEGETARIAN I EAT MOSTLY SALADS OVER ANYTHING ELSE AND I DONT USE SUGARY CALORIE LOADED DRESSINGS. I NEVER EAT FAST FOOD AND DRINK MOSTLY WATER OR A PROTEIN DRINK. I HAVE ALSO BEEN A COMPETITIVE SWIMMER FOR AT LEAST 6 YEARS AND SWAM 4 MILES ALMOST EVERY SINGLE DAY UNTIL I WREKED MY SHOULDER. SO I EAT HEALTHY AND I EXERCISE REGULARLY ESPECIALLY SINCE I CAN NO LONGER SWIM AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE A FLAT STOMACH. ITS NOT EASY FOR EVERYONE. REALIZE THAT AND REALIZE THAT POINTING OUT HOW EASY IT IS FOR YOU IS VERY DISCOURAGING TO OTHER PEOPLE
