So, UNREALISTIC is the new excuse for lazy people? You see a skinny girl with a six-pack and boobs, she’s unrealistic. (and photoshopped) They tell you to stop eating junk food and sweets, you say ... See more that’s unrealistic. They advice you to stop eating bread, you say that’s unrealistic.

Unrealistic to all of you, maybe, who pretend to have a completely different body without a BIG effort and completely changing your habits.

Like someone said above, drop the fried chicken (and the excuses) and take a lap or two around your couches.

If it was easy, everyone would be skinny.

well… i have to say that you’re definitely being “unrealistic” because reality is that if you inhere less calories and less carbs you WILL lose weight. In a week for sure. For example, my starting ... See more weight was 150 lbs and I lost 22 lbs in 3 months, and that my friend happened because i stopped eating carbs and fried food. I feel great with my new healthy body. I am not starving or photoshopping. I am REAL and dealt with my weight issue with a sacrifice to stop eating what my brain desired. I started eating what my body needed. NOBODY said it was easy.

All women are not built the same, this is true. And yes, the pictures do show mainly one type of frame. But all of the models are in shape…not skinny waifs, but fit with muscle ... See more tone. If a larger more voluptuous model was used, I would expect her to be just as toned. I have a very thin, flabby frame…my bff is a Jessica rabbit and incredibly fit. I wear a 0 she wears an 8. She’s not only healthier than I, she looks much better in a two piece. My point…the goal of this article is not to produce heroin chic women, but to introduce many to long-lasting tips that will help you lose weight through healthy eating and exercise. Focusing on the pics distracts one from the message.

I think the content was great, but I wish the pictures matched up with the tips. For example, #16 was about wearing the right fit, but then pictures a woman in somewhat see-through underwear. And ... See more #17 “get your cardio going” could show a picture of someone actually doing cardio instead of lowering her bikini. Also, #20 could actually show a picture of what portion control means. The discrepancy is sort of a turn-off from the actual content, which is unfortunate since I think the content is actually nicely written. I understand posting pictures of great bodies can be inspiring, but I think it would be even more inspiring if the pictures matched the words for each tip.

We have to realize that these are fitness models in the photos. They look awesome but they work very hard at looking like that. They do not eat “regular” food like “regular” people ... 14? Find out what your ideal body fat and weight is for your age and then stop calling yourself fat! Please, please, please! You’re 14 – focus on being healthy. If I could talk to ... See more the 14 year old me, I would tell her “you were never fat. In fact, you were gorgeous. And 20 years later, you are having to remind yourself of what you once looked like and you are using that as motivation to get fit again.” Walk as much as you can, eat healthy foods and workout as a reward to yourself, not as punishment. Being able to move your body, run 30 feet, jump rope, whatever: that should all be your celebration of who you are not who you want to be. Thank you. That is all.

Well what is your weight? So I can get a ballpark and make a little start up plan. I am 16 and at 14 I was feeling a bit fat myself. To be honest wait ... See more 2 more years and if your still feeling fat start playing a sport. You don’t need to be athletic to at least try. And trying in a sport, will give you great weight loss feedback. If not a sport start eating healthy each day fruits, meats, veggies, and make sure your drinking water. If your trying to gain muscle try working out 3 times a week. I don’t mean the treadmill. For starters try dumbbells. If your school has a gym it should have a trainer or at least a coach on staff. Try asking him about it. My weight room coach is great. Also make sure after every workout you are eating protein. I personally hate whey but two eggs is a great substitute! Good luck please reply if you have another question!

Hi Emily. Welcome to All Women Stalk!

You can (usually) achieve a toned stomach by eating clean or healthy and by working out. It takes time, but it’s not as impossible as people make it out to be.
