6. Chemical Peel …
Getting a chemical peel can dramatically change the texture and look of your face in a quick time. Chemical peels remove the outer layers of the skin, reducing wrinkles, fading skin spots, and helping clear blemishes. These are relatively pain-free and quick procedures. Just schedule your peel early in the week, because you will have redness for a few days.
7. Spray Tan …
A spray tan is the quickest, simplest way to get beautiful bronze color fast. Spray tans have become available in salons everywhere lately, and they’re easy and affordable. The technicians just spray you down with a high-quality self tanner, and bam! You’re glowing! The color usually lasts 3-5 days. Be sure to exfoliate well before you spray – this gives you the most even color and makes it last.
8. Haircut and Color …
Getting a trim (or a more dramatic hair cut) and fresh color will brighten your face and give you an instant lift. Get at least one inch trimmed to remove your split ends, and consider getting one of the cute new trends in hair like bangs or an angled bob. Then, get some updated color put in – highlights, lowlights, or a root touch-up. Finish with a deep conditioning treatment for body and shine.

9. Wax …
Getting a body wax is a quick way to feel smooth and sexy. Choose a reputable salon that can handle all your waxing needs at one stop. Consider waxing all those pesky places hair grows, including legs, arms, underarms, upper lip, eyebrows, and the bikini area. Don’t forget that you’ll need several days of hair growth before a wax can be done. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize afterwards, and give yourself a day or two for the redness to subside.

10. Facial …
Getting a facial will clear out your pores, help remove blemishes, and leave your face fresh and relaxed. Facials range from the simple, which is basically a mask and moisturizing session, to the intense, which includes facial pore extractions. Aim somewhere for the middle of that road- you want results, but you don’t want your face to bear the scars of heavy extraction when you’re trying to get runway ready in seven days. Get a good quality moisturizer as well and moisturize heavily each night before bed for seven days.
With these ten tips, you should be ready to strut your stuff on the catwalk in no time. Do you have other great ideas for getting hot in seven days? Let me know what your tips and tricks are.

I like your suggestions, except for the crash diet ones. Promoting unhealthy dieting is irresponsible and while it may “work” it won’t work for long and I bet you’ll feel horrible and starved the entire time. Why not promote healthful living rather than quick fixes? Part of being runway ready should be feeling upbeat and confident, which I can’t imagine feeling if all I’ve eaten is cabbage.
Dear Kristin,
I’ll have to disagree with you here. Different strategies work for different women. I gained some extra weight when I was 16 and I couldn’t get it off (even having a pretty healthy lifestyle) until a year later when my BGF and I went on this crazy oatmeal/cabbage soup/green tea with honey diet for a week.
We both lost all the extra weight and I felt so pretty and confident then, I never put any weight since. (And it’s been 10 years now)
Of course I cut back on sweets afterwards, but I wouldn’t have been able to make this decision if I didn’t have the body I always wanted.
It does make it easier to stick to good eating habits if you already have something you do not want to lose (like a slim figure). So, I’d say that crazy dieting week was one of the best things I’ve ever done!
PS: I would also add mani-pedi to this list! :)
They too make you feel and look fabulous and runway ready! :)
Olga- Although your statement is right, “…different strategies work for different women”, I believe this blog in particular is hypocritical in the sense that it does not offer a healthy and nutritious diet that could ALSO be on the plan of becoming runway ready in 7 days– thus disregarding what could work for “the other different women”. Lastly, I took some nutrition classes stating that drinking TOO much water can be harmful by expanding your cells and depleting sodium in the body, so maybe including the minimum intake would more helpful. I do believe there was a case where a lady died from drinking too much water in a Wii competition.
