19. Ghostbusters
This sci-fi comedy included many of the greatest comedians of the time, including Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, and Rick Moranis. I remember watching this movie over and over when I was younger (and singing the Ghostbusters song too!). This is one that both you and the kids will love.

Jim Carey will keep you in stitches with his crazy antics and wordplay. At the same time, the animals are just as funny if not funnier throughout this classic comedy film
16. Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Several of today’s megastars, such as Sean Penn and Nicolas Cage, got their start in this classic comedy, which takes a humorous peek at high school as we all remember it (or would like to forget!).
Bean’s Holiday and Miss Congeniality are my fave.

I’m happy to see that you have all my favourite comedies on this list….from the classics (Police Academy,Bad Boys, Roxanne)…to the new age comedies(Ice Age). But I’m VERY disappointed that you don’t have MADAGASCAR….it’s one of the funniest movies ever made!!!

I like that you included a lot of Mel Brooks films, but my favorites from him are not on there. “Young Frankenstein,” and “Robin Hood: Men in Tights,” I’d also add “Mrs. Doubtfire,” and possibly , “Rat Race.” Thanks for giving Monty Python due credit as well.
