10 Hottest Cardigans ...

I love cardigans. They are among my favorite winter clothes. They are so warm and snugly, and easy to take off when you get too hot! They haven’t always been fashionable, though, and I remember wearing some hideous ones as a teenager…Which makes me extra glad that designers have cottoned on to our love of cardigans, and have released lots of new styles. Here are my picks for the ten hottest cardigans…

1. Elizabeth and James Faux Fur Cocoon Shrug

Price: $565 at net-a-porter.com
Occasion: Everyday, Work, Date
Great with: Jeans, a plain T and slouchy boots
The perfect cardigan for a casual outfit, this cream shrug is warm, soft and cute! It looks great teamed with jeans and over the knee boots, but even better layered over a black mini with towering heels. It’s amazingly versatile, and its slouchy shape means it’ll make you look svelte. Perfect!

2. L’Agence Silk Cashmere Long Cardigan

Price: $410 at net-a-porter.com
Occasion: Work, Meeting parents, Out with friends
Great with: Jeans and boots, a casual sun dress
The ultimate in simple styling, this cashmere cardigan is warm and soft, and versatile enough to suit whatever you are wearing. The buttons are extra cute, too, and it’ll show off whatever you are wearing underneath while still keeping you warm, so team with your cutest sundress and high boots. Don’t forget to carry a cool, trendy bag. An instant outfit!

3. Phillip Lim Merino Wool Blend Military Cardigan

Price: $350 at net-a-porter.com
Occasion: At the beach, out with friends, shopping, days out
Great with: Sundresses, shorts, harem pants
Military chic is set to be a big trend this year, and this cardigan is the perfect way to add it to your wardrobe. Comfortable and well fitted, its also a gorgeous colour, and the gold frogging is an extra cute finish. Teamed with shorts and a vest top, or a simple sundress, it is the perfect finishing touch, and will keep you looking stylish wherever you are!

      :) Hey Fatima,
I agree that most of them are out of budget for a lot of us. But I can’t stop ogling them nonetheless!

They look all kind of old for me like for people in their mid or late 20s or order. I like cardigans from stores like Free People or Anthroplogie.
