Padded bras are a Godsend for flat-chested women everywhere. Until then they had to resort to stuffing their bras but with padded bras, the problem was solved. Plus no one had to worry about ensuring the bra was stuffed appropriately; the manufacturers took care of that.

Managing that miserable time of the month was a nightmare for women of yesteryear, having to deal with rags and other makeshift arrangements. Thanks to disposable pads with adhesive as well as tampons, this is now a non-issue.
