Part dating memoir, part cookbook, this absolutely belongs in my list of the best cook-books! I love the chocolate dump-it cake, so named because you just dump everything in the pan, but I loved learning the story behind it, too. The only problem is where to keep this book... do you keep it with the non-fiction biographies, or on the shelf with your other cookbooks?

Wow....you listed the Joy of Cooking....this title brings back memories. That was my very first cookbook I purchased when I was about 18.....a short while back....lol

Trim and Terrific Meals by Holly Cleeg, is the best cookbook I have ever had. The food is good, I don't have to cut carbs, cheese, or chocolate, and it is STILL all diet food. Their bread pudding Florentine is to die for.

Oh Sheila, you are so cute!
