It may sound strange that NASA will send blue collar drillers into space to blow up an asteroid. However, Michael Bay can make the unusual seem ordinary. This action movie is especially beautiful as it has a lovely story finely woven into it.
Face/Off
When you have Nicolas Cage and John Travolta in the same movie, you know it’s going to be a blockbuster! Identity theft of the worst kind is what you can expect from this mind-numbing thriller.
Con Air
Nicolas Cage is grouped together with a bunch of hard core criminals on an airplane. Well, he’s the good guy here wrongly convicted of a crime. So all hell breaks loose when the airplane is hijacker by Sirus the Virus!
Die Hard (all the movies)
Why do they keep coming after Bruce Willis? In a way I’m glad they do, as we get to see some heavy-duty action scenes that cover sea, air and land. What is it with this guy? He’s a super hero alright!

this list almost made me throw up. there are possibly a couple there that i would watch. The Bourne series.. yes. Charlies angels? ARE YOU SERIOUS? In what reality could this piece of pap be even considered in any top 10 movies of any genre.

This list seems like it was deliberately chosen with epic win / epic fail in mind. I personally think Armageddon is putrid feces smeared onto celluloid, but I can imagine a world where one person might accidentally put it onto their top 10 action movie list. Somehow being a girl makes it OK to make a poor list – but a poor list by anyone will bring less happiness into the world to the people who adhere to it.
The best choice that’s missing here is Aliens. One could say that Sigourney Weaver IS the quintessential female action hero, and Aliens showcases maternal instinct and other things.
My all-time favorite is ‘Festal City – The Burning Darkness’, 1997. The way the bombs and zombies get together is a spectical unbeleived. I would have thought that ice would melt at 35 degrees F. Drinks would require constant attention and refreshing. Cheers.

This is the worst action movie list I have ever seen. What about Aliens? Layer Cake? I mean throw some frickin action in there PLEASE! I agree with other comments… Charlie’s Angels? You have to be kidding. As a woman, I am embarrassed that this is the best you could come up with.
